Ola Alokolaro is a seasoned legal practitioner with years of critical experience in corporate and commercial legal practice and core expertise in handling legal issuesrelating to power, aviation, shipping, energy and infrastructure. He is well versed in electricity, finance, oil, gas, and solid minerals law and has advised several independent power producers, exploration and production companies, oil service contractors, multinationals, and high net worth clients on a wide range of assignments. He also provides advice and assistance on Legal & Policy Issues on electricity, mining and oil and gas; Legal and Legislative Drafting of statutory Instruments; together with all aspects of Law relating to the energy and infrastructure sector. He studied at the University of Buckingham, England, UK, holds a master’s degree in Natural Resources Law and Policy from the (Centre for Energy Petroleum Mineral Law and Policy) University of Dundee, Scotland, UK and has attended several continuing education courses such as: The Law firm Partner as Leader at the Cambridge Judge Business School University of Cambridge; and Regulation of Gas Markets from the Florence School of Regulation, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute. Ola is currently the Partner and Head of the Energy and Infrastructure team at Advocaat Law Practice.
