Engr. Francis Ijeoma Nwaochei is a distinguished Petroleum Engineer with extensive leadership experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and a COREN-registered engineer. He holds a B.Eng in Petroleum Engineering and an M.Eng in Engineering Management from the University of Benin, an MBA from Imperial College London, and completed the Harvard Business School Senior Executive Program – Africa. Engr. Nwaochei currently serves as Council Chairman, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nigeria Council, where he promotes professional development and energy transition initiatives. At Chevron Nigeria Limited, he isDeputy General Manager, Deepwater & PSCs, Partner Relations and Regulatory Affairs, with prior leadership roles in deepwater operations, asset management, and production optimization. A published author in the SPE OnePetro database and writer of the devotional Quickword, he is widely respected for his commitment to ethical leadership, capacity building, and mentoring young engineers.
